Where there is no
vision the people perish…. (Proverbs 29:18)
A vision is a clearly articulated,
results oriented picture of a future you intend to create. It is a dream with direction.
“Vision is the future value
of our desired state of life which must be discounted to the present through
actions, determination, and resources”. If you don’t have a vision, you being
in school will earn you nothing. And without vision you cannot achieve anything.
Without vision, there is no way you can make the desire difference. Vision
provides direction to the visionary... “Say to yourself I must have a vision
for my future, “It make the visionary remain focus even in the face of
adversities.
Joseph was a man of vision,
even when he was right in the pit; he was not overwhelmed by sadness, fear or doubts,
all because he was a man with vision. His condition in the dry pit could not detain
him because his focus was on his dream (vision), not on the pit condition. So
Joseph found favor in his sight
Vision is an ideal image
of what could and should be. Vision without action is a day dream and action
without vision is a nightmare, Joseph had three reasons why he did not yield to
the temptation of Potiphar’s wife.
One// He Considered who
he was
Two// He was a Covenant Child,
and
Three// He was a child
with the promise of God.
These
three reasons guided him and his vision. If you are a man of vision, you will;
be able to know where you belong. Indeed, you should be able to know where you belong.
When Joseph found himself in the dry pit, he said to himself, “This is not God’s
promise, I don’t belong to this place “Where I am going, the is something
greater. I know where I belongs to, Not here”. The bible says, he continued to
endure.
Vision
is not enough, you need to Act: Vision without action is merely a dream.
Action
without vision is just passing the time. Vision with Action can change the
world.
Action
is not enough Have Principles. Your actions must be consistent with your vision
and your values. To achieve personal success in life and work, vision with action
is enough .You must be a person of Conviction. You must believe in the vision
and the course of action you are pursuing. This adds fuel to whatever steps you
are taking to achieve your dreams.
The Significance of vision in life and work

2) It commits you into a journey that leads
to achievements and Satisfaction
