THE HEALING MINISTRY OF THE GOSPEL

THE HEALING MINISTRY OF THE GOSPEL

Jesus went to every town and village. He taught in their meeting places and preached the good news about God’s kingdom. Jesus also healed every kind of disease and sickness. Matthew 9:35(CEV).

The power of God’s word to heal disease and infirmity is proved over and over again in the bible.

Without the Gospel the is no healing. Why Jesus could heal is that, He himself is the word of God and the word is what brings healing.

When one is sick what is important is to act on the word of God by faith to be healed. The word of God can be demonstrated in your life only faith .Jesus asked …. Do you believe I can make you see? Matthew 9:27

This means Faith + the word of God =Healing. In other words you can’t heal without the word of God.

Many times in the church we accentuate the preaching ministry, we stress on the teaching ministry and we need both of them, we just leave one of them, but if we forget the healing ministry, we forget a big portion of what it means that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of the living God, so important. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Now Jesus then said to him, unless you see signs and miracles happen, you (people) never will believe (trust, have faith) at all (AMP)

The only thing that could let you do less you do less or mighty miracles is when the people don’t believe or familiarity .In the book of Mark 6:1-6 JESUS WENT away from there and came to His [own] country and hometown [Nazareth], and His disciples followed [with] Him. And on the Sabbath He began to teach in the synagogue; and many who listened to Him were utterly astonished, saying, where did this Man acquire all this? What is the wisdom [the broad and full intelligence which has been] given to Him? What mighty works and exhibitions of power are wrought by His hands! Is not this the Carpenter, the son of Mary and the brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? And are not His sisters here among us? And they took offense at Him and were hurt [that is, they disapproved of Him, and it hindered them from acknowledging His authority] and they were caused to stumble and fall. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor (deference, reverence) except in his [own] country and among [his] relatives and in his [own] house. And He was not able to do even one work of power there, except that He laid His hands on a few sickly people [and] cured them. And He marveled because of their unbelief (their lack of faith in Him). And He went about among the surrounding villages and continued teaching.

Jesus was so anointed but he could not do more, why because the people were so familiar with him as a person but did not recognize him as son of God (God in fresh).

And he went on to Capernaum to continue his healing business Matthew 8,9

In Matthew 4: 23-24 you could see that anywhere that Jesus went to teach he perform healing as part of his ministry.

The bible says by his stripes we are (not were) healed and made whole. Isaiah 53:5

No matter the disease or debilitating condition, none is impossible with God to transform. Believing these words would make a difference in anyone’s life and condition. In believing, we put our faith to work and get the results that we so earnestly desire, even in expectation of healing. The Lord Jesus gave a deep insight to the working of miracles when he was presented with a case that necessitated his attention. In his response to a man whose son was tormented by a dumb spirit, he showed that believing was requisite to the healing. He said, “… Anything is possible if a person believes.” Mark 9:23. New Living Translation.

The power of Gods word has also been proven time and again in my own experience.

I have watched patient's spirit changes dramatically when I ministered the word of God to them. Their Screaming seemed to subside and completely gone as I ministers the words of Jesus.

God is gracious and kind, and his power extends to all who would believe.
