For God is power, God is wisdom, Solomon asked God to give him wisdom because he knows that Jesus is the wisdom and power of God that he can use to rule. So he knows that if he asks for wisdom for his ruling, he has asked God himself to rule for him, because God has anything. Peter had the wisdom of God, John also had the wisdom and power to God to heal, to deliver, to caste all kinds of sickness.
